Published in 12 parts over 6 volumes, Willis’ work is a vast collection of biographical notices of some of the most notable Irish figures in history. Volume V Part II was published in 1844. This part continues the political section from the previous volume with Barry Yelverton, Viscount Avonmore. Other figures of note in the political section include Edmund Burke, Henry Grattan and Theobald Wolfe Tone. The parts are being made available here as they appear in the bound versions.
