The 2nd edition of this publication features chapters on each county, the train routes to get to each county and recommendations for accommodation. There is also a specially engraved fold out map of Ireland and engravings of some more well-known buildings that were throughout the country at the time. There are also sections on the geographical features such as mountains, rivers, harbors and bays. The geology and ordnance survey of the island is also given some consideration.
