Edited by Sir John Thomas Gilbert and Lady Gilbert and published by Dublin Corporation in 19 volumes between 1889 and 1944 The Calendar of Ancient Records of Dublin is an invaluable resource to historians and genealogists. The Calendar contains transcripts and translations of documents from the city's archives for the period 1171 to 1841. This volume contains the Assembly Rolls for the city of Dublin covering the years 1832-1841. This was the final volume of the series and was completed after the death of Lady Gilbert, who had continued editing after the death of Sir John in 1898.
