From historic photographs to delicate papers, the preservation of a personal archive can be challenging. 

Zoe Reid, senior paper conservator in the National Archives of Ireland, has developed many sensitive conservation treatments to safeguard unique images and records of the past. 

In this workshop, she introduces her audience to techniques for preserving paper-based objects, including family papers, photographs and letters.

This Expert Workshop takes place on Fri 10 November 2017, 3pm - 4.30pm at the Royal  Irish Academy, Dawson Street, Dublin, and is free to attend.
