Join us at the Irish Family History Centre to take part in a four week introductory course to genealogy with Declan Brady.

This course, running from September 2019 - October 2019, will give you a greater insight into your family history and you will learn how to connect to the past using various sources and techniques.

Sessions will start at 2:30pm and finish at 4pm. 

Course Outline:

Week 1 (29th September): Research Methods and Census Records

Week 2 (6th October): Civil Registration and Church Records

Week 3 (13th October): Land and Testamentary Records

Week 4 (20th October): Military, Institutional and Writing up your Family Tree.

The cost for 4 weeks is €75. This price includes the four week genealogy course and unlimited access to the Irish Family History Centre for the duration of the course (doesn't include private consultations).

Individual sessions are available and can be booked on the phone or on the day depending on availability.
